This dataset includes the newly seqenced genes from the manuscript A new species of mountain vole (Rodentia, Cricetidae, Neodon) from south Xizang, China. Each gene is stored as a separate file, with a total of 6 genes, including two mitochondrial genes (cytochrome b (CYTB, 1131 bp) and cytochrome c oxidase subunit 1 (COI, 711 bp)) and four nuclear gene fragments (growth hormone receptor gene exon 10 (GHR, 504 bp), recombination-activating 1 exon 10 (RAG1, 1074 bp), breast cancer protein 1 exon 11 (BRCA1, 831 bp), and retinol-binding protein 3 exon 4 (IRBP3, 1215 bp)).
