Ocean current, temperature and salinity measurements from a mooring at the Yermak Plateau, July 2022 - July 2023

The dataset includes an 11-month time series of ocean currents, temperature, and salinity from moored instruments on the western flank of the Yermak Plateau in Fram Strait at a depth of 1535 meters. The data were collected as part of the ATWAICE (Atlantic Water pathways to the Ice in the Nansen Basin and Fram Strait) project. The measurement period covers from July 27, 2022, to June 28, 2023.

The material following the data set includes:
1) One netCDF data file, including hourly-averaged time series of ocean temperature, salinity, and currents on a 5-meter vertical grid, as well as time series of depth and all measured variables at time-variable measurement levels.

2) A data report with details on the mooring instrumentation, mooring drawing, data processing and quality control, together with overview figures of the data collected.

3) A zipped folder with directories for all instruments including the native instrument raw data files, their converted/exported versions using the manufacturer's software as well as set-up and configuration files. Each data file is named clearly with the instrument type and its serial number.
