SEM micrograph dataset of lycoperdioid fungal spores for AI-based species identification

This dataset contains high-resolution scanning electron microscopy (SEM)micrographs of lycoperdioid fungal spores representing five morphologicallysimilar species. A total of 800 raw TIFF images were acquired understandardized imaging conditions to ensure consistency and comparability.The dataset was generated to support artificial intelligence–basedidentification and classification of lycoperdioid fungi and includesspecies-specific folders and accompanying metadata.
