TransFormation und Musik Gedanken zu Formbildungsprozessen durch die rezeptive Musiktherapie-Methode ‚Guided Imagery and Music‘ (GIM) TransFormation and Music. Thoughts on the Processes of Form Development Through the Receptive Music Therapy Method ‚Guided Imagery and Music‘ (GIM)
This article examines the meaning and the process of transformation within a music-psychotherapeutic frame and seeks to answer the question of how their expression is related to the method of ‚Guided Imagery and Music‘ (GIM). In order to understand this complex therapeutic process, the author uses a theoretical approach which includes concepts from both music and psychology to explain two transformational phenomena, namely peak experiences and pivotal moments. They are related to the author’s previous research project which focused on investigating psychological transformation. peerReviewed publishedVersion
