Gene expression profiling from Al treatment in rice root tips

The root tip of rice before or after Al stress have been used. And some gense were regulated in this stress. We used microarrays to detail the global programme of gene expression underlying Al stress and identified distinct classes of up-regulated genes during this process. Root tips were selected for RNA extraction and hybridization on Affymetrix microarrays. We sought to obtain homogeneous populations of root in order to increase the temporal resolution of expression profiles. To that end, we labled different treatments, i.e. before Al treatment (Control, three repeat were C1, C2, and C3, respectively), after 6 h Al treatment (Treatment,three repeat were T1, T2, and T3, reapectively).
