资源简介:
The survey was designed to provide a profile of student drug use in Victoria for consideration by the Inter-Departmental Inquiry into the Drug Problem in Victoria formed in 1978 to make a general inquiry into the use of drugs in Victoria. Post-primary school students were selected as the target group because they were considered to have greater exposure to drugs than primary students. Information was collected concerning the students' present drug use, introduction to drugs, age at first use, context of first use, context of current use and quantities of drugs consumed as well as school and personal details. The categories of drugs investigated were: tobacco, alcohol, pain killers, sedatives, tranquillisers, pep pills, inhalants, LSD, heroin, marijuana and caffeine. Background variables included age, sex, form, school type, respondent's and parents' country of birth, parents occupations and school transience.
