The goal of this study was to assess the effect of various drugs on the expression of mature miRNAs in Human SHSY5Y cells. Cells were treated with various concentrations of vitamin D3, fluoxetine or alpha-methyl histamine for 24h, and then harvested for miRNA seq using the Qiagen QIA-Seq for miRNA (Ion Torrent Version). Data were basecalled on an Ion Torrent, and then re-written as fastq files prior to analysis using the Qiagen web portal.The aim of this study was to validate drug interaction predictions made using AI modeling.
