Data for: Geometric Descriptors Reveal Social Niche Dynamics in Japanese Macaques
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains individual-level stable isotope data and derived nichemetrics used in the study “Geometric Descriptors Reveal Social Niche Dynamicsin Japanese Macaques”. The dataset includes raw isotopic measurements (δ13C, δ15N, and δ34S) for eachindividual, along with group identity and sampling year. In addition, itprovides individual-level derived metrics quantifying within-group structurein isotopic niche space, including leave-one-out Mahalanobis distances (Di)and related quantities. These data were used to estimate isotopic niche regions and to examine temporalchanges in within-group heterogeneity among social groups of Japanesemacaques. All analyses were conducted at the annual scale. Sampling dates arenot provided because date information was not used in the analyses. This dataset is provided to support reproducibility of the analyses andfigures presented in the associated manuscript and may be reused forcomparative or methodological studies of isotopic niche structure.
