Major banks in Romania 2023, by number of employees

Banca Transilvania was not only the leading bank by financial assets value, in the Romanian banking industry, but also had the biggest number of employees in 2023, totaling over 9.5 thousand. It was followed by BRD-SocGen and Banca Comercială Română (BCR), both with over five thousand employees.
