Promoter sequences extracted from the GRCh38.p14 reference FASTA file on GENCODE. Here, promoters are defined as 1kb upstream to 1kb downstream the TSS (beginning of first exon). This file contains all such sequences for Ensembl canonical transcripts of protein-coding genes.
