Transcriptomic analysis with Illumina and MGI platforms using RUNX3- and ZBTB46-induced embryonic stem cells

We examined the effects of Runx3 and Zbtb46 induction in murine embryonic stem cells using doxycycline-inducible transgenic cell lines. Embryonic stem cells were cultured for three days in the presence or absence of transgenic ZBTB46 or RUNX3. A genome-scale gene expression analysis was employed with RNA sequencing testing four biological replicates (together 16 samples). The same 16 RNA samples were tested with the Illumina and MGI (Standard- and Hot-MPS chemistry) sequencing technologies.
