Fill samples from four hearths discovered during monitoring activities for the Noble
Energy, Iron Horse 31-4-C project were examined for macrofloral remains. This site was
located five miles south of Lysite, Wyoming. Macrofloral analysis will be used to provide
information concerning possible food resources processed in these hearths, as well as types of
wood burned as fuel.
