Cradle Coast NRM Productive Landscape Program

The Cradle Coast Region includes some of the most productive soils in Tasmania, encompassing 66% of the State’s prime agricultural land. This project will build on 10 years of successful agricultural programs delivered by Cradle Coast NRM, consistent with the needs of our region, our experience and local knowledge. The Sustainable Agriculture program will deliver a range of activities around food and fibre production in the region, focusing on key assets including our soils and our people. Activities such as local facilitator support, information and extension, capacity building and trials will be tailored to meet the needs of industry sectors, groups and individual famers.
