We report a translational pilot study evaluating circulating tumor cell (CTC) enumeration and androgen receptor splice variant 7 (AR-V7) detection using a microporous chip–based liquid biopsy platform combined with droplet digital PCR. The study integrates innovative diagnostic technology with clinically meaningful outcomes in patients with metastatic prostate cancer, directly aligning with the journal’s emphasis on prostate cancer biology, biomarkers, and precision therapeutics.
