Wetland aquatic ecosystem, located in and around water bodies in contrast to land-based terrestrialecosystems. Angiosperm plants are vital component of these aquatic ecosystems. It is necessary to recordthe diversity and potentiality of plant communities. The current research focused on exploring thediversity of aquatic angiosperm plant diversity of “Saheed Chandra Shekhar Azad Bird Sanctuary” ofUnnao district of Uttar Pradesh, has been explored extensively compiled with 86 species belonging to 66genera of 34 families were identified. Out of total 86 species, 39 were dicot species belonging to 35 generaof 23 families, while 47species were monocot belonging to 32 genera of 11 families.
