资源简介:
Bio-physical, ecological and social information have been used to parameterise two computer models able to simulate (ALCES and Ecopath with Ecosim [EwE]) land, coastal and marine processes. A careful examination of a large volume of publications from the academic, private and public sector has also allowed us to identify a number of climate and social economic development scenarios the Kimberly region may experience in the decades to come\nLineage: In this project we have integrated a large amount of data, knowledge and state-of-the-art understanding of the bio-physical, ecological and social processes affecting the Kimberley marine environment with new information generated by several of the projects within the WAMSI program. This information has been used to parameterise two computer models able to simulate (ALCES and Ecopath with Ecosim [EwE]) land, coastal and marine processes. The outcome of this project is a very large set of simulation outputs representing the dynamical evolution of the land, coastal and marine environment over 35 years, which includes hundreds of regional maps and thousands of time series of environmental, social and economic indicators. All these results are now publically available as per wamsi requirement. We developed a project website (http://www.alces.ca/files/KimberleyMSE/) where specific information of the modelling process and results are described and justified.
