ASSESSING THE VOCABULARY SIZE OF A MODERN MEDICAL STUDENT

This article is devoted to assessing the vocabulary of modern medical students and studying the factors of its development. The medical field is rich in its own terminology and complex scientific concepts, and it is important for students to have a wide vocabulary. Vocabulary is one of the main factors not only in mastering theoretical knowledge, but also in effective communication with patients. The methods used to determine the lexical potential of medical students, including tests, analysis of written and oral speech, and special diagnostic methods, are highlighted. The results of the study show that the vocabulary of students is directly related to their level of education, learning environment, and individual interests.
