Latitude and longitude are the station location. Time is the delay time of the receiver function arrival relative to the direct P-wave arrival. A1 is the amplitude of the first azimuthal harmonic arrival (360° azimuthal periodicity) expressed as horizontal to vertical amplitude ratio of the arrival (calculated with time domain iterative deconvolution, so absolute amplitudes are preserved). Its minimum and maximum error bounds are calculated via bootstrapping. Strike is the foliation strike of the stronger fabric at the converting contrast in Vp anisotropy (add 90° to obtain the trend of the symmetry axis), with bootstrap errors. Width is the temporal width of the peak. Prom is the prominence of the peak in the A1 time series, where larger values indicate a more pronounced peak. Gap is the azimuthal gap in the receiver function event coverage. Ntra is the number of traces (events and raw receiver functions) at this station. Station elevation is the elevation of the station above sea level. Depth below surface is calculated using the time of the arrival converted to depth below the station using a 1-D velocity model. Depth below sea level is the depth below sea level at which the contrast generating the converted phase occurs. These data span three different study regions: (1) subduction-transform transition zone near the Mendocino triple junction (39 < latitude < 42.2°), (2) Hayward-Calaveras fault junction (37.3 < latitude < 37.7), and (3) San Andreas-Calaveras fault junction (36.4 < latitude < 37.2). For regions 2 and 3, only the largest amplitude arrival per station is listed.
