Follow-up survey data on fishermen affected by the fishing ban in ‘ten provinces, hundreds of counties, thousands of households’ along the Yangtze River. This study centers around the overarching objective of ensuring that fishermen affected by the ban can ‘successfully transition out, maintain stable livelihoods, and attain prosperity.’ By employing a scientific approach to sample selection, we aim to dynamically capture essential information regarding the production and living conditions of those who have moved ashore. This data will provide robust support for a scientific evaluation of both the implementation status and effectiveness of various policies concerning fishing bans and withdrawals.
