四季星图

本套星图表现的是北纬40度区域在不同季节可见的全部星空，星图外围的圆环内标有东西南北等方位，最内侧的圆圈是观测地的地平线，星图中心为观测地的天顶。使用时，可将星图举起，使图上标注的方位与实际方向一致，就可按图索骥，从认识亮星开始，一步步学习辨识各个星座。图中绘出了亮于4等的恒星和少部分5等星，亮星标注了中国星名。一些著名的深空天体也有体现。

This star atlas depicts the complete night sky visible at 40° North latitude across all seasons. The outer ring of the atlas is marked with cardinal directions including east, west, south and north. The innermost circle represents the observer's local horizon, while the center of the atlas corresponds to the observer's zenith. When using this atlas, simply hold it up so that the marked directions on the chart match the actual outdoor directions, then you can follow the chart to learn to identify constellations step by step, starting with recognizing bright stars. Stars brighter than apparent magnitude 4 and a small number of 5th-magnitude stars are plotted here, with Chinese star names labeled for the bright stars. Several famous deep-sky objects are also included in the atlas.
