Astro Mat Lab methane-ethane solidus data

Data points for methane-ethane solidus collected at the Astrophysical Materials Lab at Northern Arizona University.Lower and upper diode values are the average of the temperatures for each spectrum taken in a cell scan and then an average of those values before and after crossing the solidus boundaryTemperature calibration for solidus data was obtained using experimental values from literature of the freezing point of methane, the point of nitrogen, and the alpha-beta transition of nitrogen. For the freezing points, we decreased the temperature of the lower diode by increments of 0.01 until ice was visibly apparent. Since the alpha-beta transition is not visible, we identified it by the Raman shift in the nitrogen peak. Overall, the correction is small and approximately linear.
