资源简介:
Wireless Isochronous Real Time (WIRT) in-X subnetworks (WinXS) is a technology anticipated with the 6G communication era in the coming decade. Here, many components work in tandem so that the entity they are a part of appears as a single subnetwork to the external world, interacting with other subnetworks and cyber systems of the connected world. Information Centric Networking is another technology under active research and may see global implementation by the 6G communication era. This article evaluates the implementation of WinXS in the ICN backbone. It explores the advantages as well as drawbacks of WinXS implementation on top of ICN compared to TCP/IP implementation, which is found in the state-of-the-art. Further, this article proposes a privacy-preserving naming scheme and develops a secure and efficient communication protocol for ICN-WinXS. The proposed scheme is tested in AVISPA, ndnSIM, etc., simulation tools to explore its feasibility and robustness. More analysis underscores the benefits of ICN over TCP/IP for WinXS implementation.
