Shiva, late 10th century

This elegant image of Shiva, identifiable through his piled dreadlocks, might have once been the principle deity within a shrine. Since I was using a manual focus lens with no IS, I couldn't get sharp photos of the shoulders or top of Shiva and the surrounding sculpture.
