Major differences in substrates giving dye reduction between spoligotypes of M .bovis and within spoligotypes of M .bovis.

All differences were significant at P10 Omnilog units for the strain with the highest value. Differences were tested between spoligotypes by (i) comparing pooled dye reduction data for all strains tested and (ii) comparing data from the most used strains: 9b, 17c and 35a. Note that 35a was the only representative of spoligotype 35. Given that there are ten pairwise differences, these data are shown in a table rather than heatmaps.
