The hidden cost of medical education: health anxiety and quality of life among Saudi medical students

This dataset contains anonymized responses from a cross-sectional survey of Saudi medical students conducted between November 2024 and April 2025. The study aimed to assess the prevalence and predictors of health anxiety and its relationship with quality of life. Data include sociodemographic variables, Short Health Anxiety Inventory (SHAI) scores, SF-12 quality of life scores, and other related variables. All personally identifiable information has been removed to ensure confidentiality.
