资源简介:
ABSTRACT: Purpose: to verify the benefits of choral singing for improvements on vocal emission patterns pre and post singing voice activity. Methods: in three different steps, within one year, it was collected data of vocal signs and symptoms, voice records for perceptual and acoustic analysis with the fundamental frequency parameters, jitter, shimmer and glottal noise, as well as vocal range and maximum phonation time. The sample consisted of 23 amateur singers from a university choral belonging to the Federal University of Health Sciences in Porto Alegre/Brazil. Statistical analysis consisted of crossing data at different stages of evaluation. Results: it was observed that the majority of participants did not present inadequate voice pattern usage. There was improvement in awareness and in the use of vocal care and acoustic analysis parameters. Conclusion: within one year of measurement, it was found that the practice of choral singing brought benefits to subjects through individual development enhancement of vocal emission.
