Particle size distributions in the upper 500 m of the Atlantic Ocean from the Atlantic Meridional Transect cruise AMT26 (JR16001) using a Coulter counter.

This dataset contains Quality Controlled Particle Size Distributions (PSD) measured using a Multisizer III Coulter counter in the upper 500 m of the Atlantic Ocean, during September and October 2016 during cruise AMT26 (JR16001). Samples were collected at generally 6 depths using 20 L Niskin bottles, and immediately analysed through 20 µm and 100 µm Coulter counter apertures in multiple replicates. Each PSD stored in the present dataset represents the summation of all replicates for a given sample, and covers the size range between 0.59 and 60 µm distributed in 360 logarithmically-spaced size bins.
