Whole exome sequencing (WES) was carried out on DNA samples extracted from CD138+ plasma cells collected from patients diagnosed with different plasma cell proliferative disorders (PCPD) like monoclonal gammopathy of undetermined significance (MGUS), smoldering multiple myeloma (SMM), multiple myeloma (MM), and plasma cell leukemia (PCL). WES was also carried out on paired germline DNA obtained from peripheral blood mononuclear cells for all the patients.
