Polarized Light Intensity Reflected from Ocean Surface Waves

Polarized light intensity data collected from the Air-Sea Interaction Tower (ASIT) south of Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts, United States of America in October, 2019. Collected from a Division of Focal Plane (DoFP) imaging polarimeter (with the Sony Polarsens IMX250MZR detector). The information contained within this dataset may be used to compute the high-resolution wave slope field (see associated code repository: https://github.com/unh-cassll/polarimetric-slope-sensing). Full metadata contained within all constituent NetCDF files (grab the smallest one to get the low-down). Brief description of the four constituent data files: asit_2019_raw_pol_stack.nc - 60 seconds of data at 30 frames per second asit_2019_raw_pol_stack_3s.nc - the first 3 seconds of that data stack asit_2019_raw_pol_frame0001.nc - the first frame of that data stack asit_2019_raw_pol_median.nc - the time-median of the full 60-second stack (used to infer the deviation from ideal conditions later in the processing pipeline)
