The Star Variable Star Survey — Data Release 1 (DR1) provides the public data release from the Star survey, an autonomous systematic census of long-period variable stars and detached eclipsing binariesacross 452 northern Milky Way disk fields, mined from the 7.5-year photometricbaseline of the Zwicky Transient Facility (ZTF DR24) and archival Harvard DASCH photographic plates.Contents:• catalogs/tier1_golden_sample.csv: Complete certified catalog of 19,727 vetted variable star discoveries passing rigorous astrometric, color, and 20-star comparison differential vetting tests (Gaia DR3 RUWE <=1.25), reporting precision Gaia coordinates, orbital periods, amplitudes, and geometric distances.• catalogs/field_queue.csv: Survey field grid specifications, sky coordinates (RA/Dec), and galactic coordinates for the 452 Zone S fields.
