USGinfonet Project Plan

The Universities at Shady Grove (USG) established in fall 2000; the facility is located in Rockville, Maryland that offers career-oriented higher education courses to resident of Montgomery County, Maryland and its surround region. Since its inception in 2000, USG has been transformed from a location for part-time evening instruction into a vibrant center serving more than 36,650 undergraduate and graduate students. As an innovation partnership of nine Maryland degree-granting institutions, USG is able to offer more than 70 of the best most popular degree programs from across the state on one convenient, state- of the art campus in Montgomery County. Employees at USG work in a far more complex environment than ever before. USG is not working with one University; instead USG work partners from nine public universities and works with employees from around Maryland State. With the outstanding services and growth at USG comes complexity. With this complexity comes the demand to promote common organization culture, enhance collaboration and better communication among students, staff and faculty from the nine universities.
