Targeting psychological inflexibility in subthreshold obsessive-compulsive disorder

This thesis explores subthreshold obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), referring to the period of time when symptoms have not yet met diagnostic levels. Specifically, the thesis characterises the speed of progression from the subthreshold phase into clinical OCD, explores the relationship between obsessive-compulsive symptoms and psychological flexibility and inflexibility, and whether internet-based Acceptance and Commitment Therapy is acceptable and efficacious in the subthreshold OCD population.
