Effect of Rhapontigenin treatment on gene expression of liver tissue in aged mice

Aging is a complex biological process that is characterized by a progressive decline in physiological function and increased susceptibility to age-related diseases. Natural compounds, particularly polyphenols, have emerged as attractive candidates for use in antiaging therapeutic strategies because of their ability to modulate multiple aging-related pathways and relatively low toxicity. In this study, we aimed to evaluate the potential of Rhapontigenin to be used as an antiaging agent. To investigate the effect of Rhapontigenin on liver aging, liver tissues were removed from aged male C57BL/6 mice after treated with Rhapontigemin for RNA-seq. Comparative gene expression profiling analysis of RNA-seq data for liver tissues of aged mice treated with or without Rhapontigenin.
