Spectral micro-CT for quantitative analysis of calcification in fibrocartilage: Dataset

This repository contains tomographic data associated with the article "Spectral micro-CT for quantitative analysis of calcification in fibrocartilage".

The dataset includes reconstructed and spectrally decomposed micro-CT images of fibrocartilage samples from human hip joints. Data are organized by sample and acquisition type, and include both raw reconstructions and material-specific decompositions.

The repository contains three zip archives corresponding to different sample types:

FAI.zip: Femoroacetabular impingement sample

OA1.zip: Osteoarthritis sample 1

OA2.zip: Osteoarthritis sample 2

Each archive includes two main subfolders:

Each sample archive contains:

This folder includes tomographic reconstructions obtained using dual-threshold spectral acquisition:

rec_low/:Reconstructed slices from acquisition below the high energy threshold (set to 37 keV).Format: .tif image stack

rec_high/:Reconstructed slices from acquisition above the energy threshold (≥ 37 keV).Format: .tif image stack

2. decompositions/

This folder includes spectral decomposition results into material-specific channels:
