Production volume of meat in Northern Portugal 2003-2023

The production volume of meat in Northern Portugal saw no significant changes in 2023 in comparison to the previous year 2022 and remained at around 72.7 thousand metric tons. In comparison to 2022, the production volume decreased not significantly by 0.9 thousand metric tons (-1.22 percent). For more insights about the production volume of meat consider different regions: in 2023, in comparison to Northern Portugal, the production volume in Alentejo was considerably higher, while it was lower in the Autonomous Region of the Azores.
