Clinical-Notes-SLEDAI-2K: Annotated clinical notes for SLEDAI-2K scoring

Systemic Lupus Erythematous (SLE) is a complex autoimmune disease to assess due to its heterogeneous clinical manifestations. Currently, the scarcity of publicly available annotated datasets due to privacy concerns has limited the development of benchmark corpora for SLE research. Therefore, we leverage published case reports that describe rare descriptors meeting SLE diagnostic criteria and convert them into clinical note format using LLMs. The clinical reports are labelled using the SLE Disease Activity Index 2000 (SLEDAI-2K) framework. This dataset can serve as a benchmark for evaluating large language models (LLMs) and foster the development of novel computational strategies that enable transparent and reproducible evaluation.
