The microarray experiment was employed to evaluate the gene expressions in skin lesions of dermatomyositis and healthy controls. To investigate the specific gene regulations in dermatomyositis, microarray profiling was performed on RNA extracted from paraffin embedded skin biopsy samples obtained from patients and healthy controls.
