资源简介:
As part of the Survey Co-ordination Act 1949, any public office, when carrying out a survey, which is not a survey as defined under the Surveyors Act, should place Permanent Marks as prescribed by the Act and connect to the State Survey Control. The Survey Co-ordination Regulations came into existence under the Survey Co-Ordination Act 1949 after the publication of Government Gazette 22 June 1951. The Survey Co-ordination Regulations were later amended in Gazette 4 February 1955.As part of the of the amendment it became mandatory that after a proper officer of a public authority has placed a Permanent Mark a sketch plan of the type and position of the mark should be lodged with the Surveyor General, creating these registers. Each register has pages ruled into columns; the left-side column has sequential numbers stamped in and next to the number is written the name of the body to whom it was issued; other columns note size of lot, location, with some note purpose and ownership. The use of the numbering system ensures all marks are collated and not duplicated.
