RV Investigator Voyage IN2015_C01 Gravity Data

This record describes gravity data collected on RV Investigator research charter IN2015_C01, 'GAB deep water geological and benthic ecology program,' which departed Hobart on the 25 October and returned to Port Lincoln on the 28 November. A short sea trial voyage (October 22 - 25, Hobart - Hobart) was undertaken prior to the charter. Data for those days is also included in this data set. The gravity meter instrument is a MicroG Lacoste Air-Sea II. Data are stored in .ENV and .DAT data files at CSIRO. There are 79 files totalling 596 MB of raw data in this dataset. Wharf ties were undertaken at in Hobart and Port Lincoln using a Scintrex Autograv CG-5. Wharf tie data can be found in Hobart Wharf Tie Oct 2015.txt and Port Lincoln Wharf Tie 28 Nov 2015.txt, which are stored with the raw data.No processing has been conducted on this data.Additional information regarding this dataset is contained in the GSM data acquisition and processing report.
