Sport participation rate among female adults 2023, by type of activity

According to a survey conducted in November 2023, 60.5 percent of women in Japan aged between 18 to 79 years were practicing walking as a physical exercise. 23.8 percent stated that they have not participated in any sports or physical activities during the last year.
