Multi-Investigator Multi-Site (MIMS) experiment

In this research, the experiment involved a mock presidential election campaign, comprised of a primary election with three Democrats and three Republicans competing for their party’s nomination, followed by a general election campaign where the winning Democrat faced the winning Republican. The data for the experiment are provided in an SPSS system file, TotalcombinedMIMS1Files.Sav. This dataset has 302 cases, and 3,463 variables. Many of the variables in the file have both variable and value labels. When variables are not labeled, it is either because the variable name itself is the label, or when variables are part of a series of very similar variables. For example, variable numbers 1102 through 1681 include 4 computer generated variables for each of the 25 items that were available (twice) about each of the 6 candidates during the primary campaign.
