The synthetic dataset accompanying the paper "Artificial intelligence-based heliostat characterisation through synthetic data" is partitioned into five subsets for improved data handling. Each subset contains a heliostat table structured as follows: Heliostat_id: it is the primary key of the table. x: x position of the heliostat with respect to the target. y: y position of the heliostat with respect to the target. z: z position of the heliostat with respect to the target. focal_length: ideal focal length for both axis of the parabola that represents an ideal heliostat. surface: 50x50 matrix with the heliostat surface elevation values. sun_pos_azi_n: sun azimuth for the nth flux distribution (n=1 to 6). sun_pos_ele_n: sun elevation for the nth flux distribution (n=1 to 6). heatflux_sunposn: 50x50 matrix with the radiative flux distribution reflected by the surface at the nth sun position.
