This series consists of Cash Books: Expenditure created from 1872 to 1973. Prior to 1872 combined cash books recording both revenue and expenditure transactions were created. These cash books are located in VPRS 11325.As a book of original entry it served to chronologically record payments made. These amounts were then posted to the relevant ledger accounts which were identified by ledger folio numbers.
