This dataset is the original work of Thomas Lam and is shared for use with the accompanying manuscript titled “Open-Source Workflow for NMF to Discretized Standards-Based SEM-EDS Quantification,” submitted to Microscopy and Microanalysis on July 9, 2026. Thomas Lam is the author of this manuscript and can be contacted at Lamt@SI.edu. This Zenodo repository contains the .raw and .rpl files for the following datasets: albite_0p078 (EDS map of the standard used in the study), olivine_0p078 (EDS map of the standard used in the study), ortho_0p078 (EDS map of the standard used in the study), wol_0p078 (EDS map of the standard used in the study), rhodonite_0p078 (EDS map of the standard used in the study), Alm_0p078 (EDS map of the standard used in the study), Jd_0p025 (EDS map of a jadeite-only region), Omp_0p025 (EDS map of an omphacite-only region), SRM621_0p078 (EDS map of a standard reference glass), and JS006_0p31 (EDS map of a multiphase region in a jadeite sample). The data are intended to be opened with open-source HyperSpy and Python software. Alignment of the hyperspectral cubes is provided in the Jupyter notebooks hosted on GitHub.
