We have used RNA-Seq to examine lymphocytes and monocytes expression profiles in goats infected with PPRV (Izatnagar94), suggesting its important functions in immune response during virus infection. Overall design: In this study, transcriptome analysis of PPRV infected PBMCs subsets - T helper cells, T cytotoxic cells, monocytes and B lymphocytes was done to delineate their role in host response at 9 days post infection.
