Data of On the variability of phytoplankton photophysiology along a latitudinal transect in the North Atlantic surface ocean

Dataset accompanying manuscript "On the variability of phytoplankton photophysiology over a latitudinal transect in the North Atlantic surface ocean" (Aardema et al., submitted to JGR: Biogeosiences, 2024). The methods to collect this dataset are described in the paper mentioned above, please refer to this paper when using this dataset. Each file contains a tab-separated table, preceded by a header describing the individual columns.

Underway data on phytoplankton photophysiology along a latitudinal transect from the polar circle to the equator in the eastern North Atlantic sailed by the S/Y Eugen Seibold. Datasets include parameters from Fast Repetition Rate fluorometry (FRRf) and Flow Cytometry (FCM) with nearest matched environmental parameters in the surface ocean (all sampled from 3 m water depth).
