Electoral areas served by Santa Cruz County Office of Education's Board of Trustees. Residents within each area elect a trustee to represent them on the board for a 4-year term. The Santa Cruz County Office of Education (SCCOE) is the authority for this layer. Original source maps were provided by the office of the Santa Cruz County Clerk/Elections Department. Initial boundary verification was done by SCCOE Consultant, Don Wallace. Updates and revisions are processed via formal letters following action by the SCCOE Committee on School District Organization. Note: some portions of Santa Cruz County are served by Education Boards from neighboring counties. These include a northern portion served by Santa Clara County, and an eastern portion served by San Benito County.
