Understanding mechanisms underlying anti-tumor immunity is pivotal for improving immune-based cancer therapies. Here we demonstrate that growth of inoculated BRAF-mutant melanoma cells was inhibited, up to complete loss, in Siah2-/- mice. CD45+ cells from YUMMER1.7 tumors grown 11 days in WT or Siah2-/- mice, including one thousand CD45- cells for every 20,000 CD45+ cells.
