Integrating Biotechnology and Bioinformatics in Education: Development of an Anti-Cancer E-Module Based on In-silico Research

This file contains supporting data and research instruments used in the development and evaluation of an anti-cancer e-module integrating biotechnology and bioinformatics. The data include results of student needs analysis, expert validation of media, material, language, and critical thinking assessment instruments, as well as statistical analyses of learning outcomes. The document presents quantitative data from student questionnaires related to access to learning facilities, digital media usage, and interest in biotechnology topics. It also includes expert validation results covering layout, presentation, consistency, readability, content feasibility, and integration of bioinformatics and critical thinking skills. In addition, the file provides validation rubrics for critical thinking assessment instruments based on Ennis’ framework, reliability testing using Cronbach’s alpha, and statistical analyses such as tests of normality, homogeneity, paired sample t-tests, normalized gain scores, and effect size calculations. Pre-test and post-test scores from experimental and control groups are also included to demonstrate the improvement of students’ critical thinking skills after implementation of the developed e-module.
