RNA-sequencing of oil palms treated with gibberellic acid or paclobutrazol

Gibberellic acid (GA) treatment at three concentrations (0.02g GA/palm, 0.05g GA/palm and 0.5g GA/palm) were applied on 10-month old clonal oil palm plants. Paclobutrazol (PBZ) treatment was only applied at a concentration of 0.02g/palm. For each GA or PBZ treatment, control plants were treated with the same buffer excluding phytohormones (GA or PBZ). Treatments were periodically applied at 2-weekly intervals and leaf sampling was conducted at two time points, 8-weeks (T1) and 16-weeks (T2). For each treatment or control group per time point, two biological replicates were sequenced.
